Italic text generator

Italic Unicode letters stay italic when pasted, unlike real formatting, so they survive bios and usernames.

How It Works

Unicode includes whole alphabets that look like styled versions of A to Z: mathematical bold, italic, script, fraktur, double-struck, monospace and more, plus combining marks for underlines and strikes. A generator swaps each letter for its look-alike, so the result is plain text that carries its own style wherever it goes.

Because they are different characters, screen readers may read them oddly and search boxes won't match them to normal words. Use them for names and flair, not for whole paragraphs.
