Platforms count differently: some count characters as you see them, some count UTF-16 units (most emoji = 2), X counts emoji and CJK as 2. Limits are the public defaults and can change.
Whole numbers only. Prefixes like 0x, 0b and 0o are fine. Click a row to copy.

🔔What's new
The ⭐ Popular window now shows all-time favorites instead of the last seven days, twelve per kind. Until enough emoji have been counted, the Everyone row is topped up from Snagmoji's own most-used list, shown without a count.
Google Analytics now counts visits alongside Fathom, set up without cookies so the "no cookies" promise still holds. The privacy page says exactly what it sees.
The ⭐ Popular window now counts copies made on the emoji, kaomoji, symbol and fancy-text pages too. Until now only copies on the home page were counted, so "Everyone" was missing most of what people actually copy.
New ⭐ Popular tab at the end of the top row: the ten most-copied emoji, kaomoji, symbols and fancy-text styles across everyone this week, beside your own most-used. The count is anonymous — your browser sends which one was copied and nothing else — and there is an off switch in the window and on the privacy page.
New in Text Tools: a Lorem Ipsum generator. Ask for any number of paragraphs, sentences, words, list items or exact bytes, in short, medium or long sentences, as plain text, HTML or Markdown. There is a Cupcake and a Cosmic word set if Latin is too serious, and you can paste your own words and shuffle those instead.
The What Is It? button next to it explains what Lorem Ipsum is, why designers use it, that it comes from a Cicero treatise from 45 BC, and what the Latin actually means.
Line breaks gained a Rich editor mode, for boxes that can do bold and italics (chat sites, character cards, Notion). Your text is copied as plain text and as HTML at the same time, so those boxes keep your line breaks, and each line arrives separated by one blank line instead of everything running together.
New in Text Tools: Line breaks. Paste text from Notepad and get a version that keeps its line breaks where you are pasting it, whether that is a caption that deletes blank lines, a bio that refuses breaks, a web page or code.
Fixed: symbols that existed before emoji (❤️ ✉️ ⚠️ 🖱️ and about 200 others) pasted as flat black-and-white glyphs. They now copy in colour.
New Typographs style: switch the grid to the black-and-white printed forms those same symbols had before emoji, and copy those instead.
The hover bar (add to tray, favorite, variants, details) now works on items in the Favorites & Recent window, not just the main grid.
Made by one person, updated whenever something needs it. Nothing here is tracked: the bell just remembers the last date you read, in your own browser.

Click anything to copy it. The Everyone count is anonymous: when you copy something, your browser tells the counter which one it was and nothing else — no cookie, no id, no stored address. Your own list never leaves this browser. How it works →
