What Coconut Means
People reach for ๐ฅฅ when they mean colada, palm, piรฑa. Searching Snagmoji for any of those words finds it.
Coconut is one of the food & drink emoji, alongside ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ and 14 more in the same family.
History & Platforms
Coconut was added in 2017 as part of Emoji 5.0. It has artwork in Twemoji, Google's Noto, Microsoft's Fluent, OpenMoji. Apple, Samsung and WhatsApp draw it in their own styles, which is why the same emoji can look a little different from phone to phone.
Under the hood ๐ฅฅ is the single code point U+1F965, and on GitHub, Slack and most chat apps you can type it as :coconut:.
