What Superhero Means
People reach for ๐ฆธ when they mean good, hero, superpower. Searching Snagmoji for any of those words finds it.
Superhero is one of the people & body emoji, alongside ๐ผ ๐ ๐คถ ๐งโ๐ ๐ฆธโโ๏ธ and 25 more in the same family. It supports all five skin tone modifiers, so ๐ฆธ can be sent as ๐ฆธ๐ป ๐ฆธ๐ผ ๐ฆธ๐ฝ ๐ฆธ๐พ ๐ฆธ๐ฟ. It also has person, man and woman variants that you can pick from the emojiโs details on Snagmoji.
History & Platforms
Superhero was added in 2018 as part of Emoji 11.0. It has artwork in Twemoji, Google's Noto, OpenMoji, but not yet in Microsoft's Fluent. Apple, Samsung and WhatsApp draw it in their own styles, which is why the same emoji can look a little different from phone to phone.
Under the hood ๐ฆธ is the single code point U+1F9B8, and on GitHub, Slack and most chat apps you can type it as :superhero:.
